Prefactoring

The book I should have read before developing a system. Of course I have never read them because I didn’t realise that they would be so useful.

The title is word game: usually you code it bad and then start re-factoring. The author proposes to code it after pre-factoring. Believe me: it’s quite insightful.

The book is a walkthrough building an online store. Longstory short: the client doesn’t understand computers, has lump concepts and changes his mind in the process. A real case scenario with all the good practices to react.

All along you discover guidelines. They are simple and adaptable to your own project. But I do wonder if I have the discipline to follow much of them.
