Xgl and Kororaa
Published March 29th, 2006 in LinuxAfter my MoinMoin chill, I’ve burned the Kororaa Live CD. This is a well crafter jevelery; the hardest part was to put the cdrom inside the computer.
Xgl is impressive. Even if I don’t feel like using all the neat features all the time, there are still nice to have. Maybe they will also call the Linux community to think about the multi-dimentional interfaces.
I’m writting this article from Firefox / Kororaa and to my greatest suprise the font rendering was as good as on my Mac. (which btw settled the bar high).
Can’t wait April and Ubuntu 6.04 to put that in production.
