I just went through this article about two way of creating an IT architecture one using tightly integrated environments or the user using open (and messy) environments. I think both perspective are just right I thing the the article spots something really important (and obvious): it depends of your IT staff.

Sur un projet il y a des relation avec l’Indes et un des membres du groupe à reçu du chocolat au curry. Tout le monde vient d’en recevoir. Et après un rapide coup d’oeil à mes collègues ils m’ont dit interesting. J’ai failli tombé de ma chaise devant tant de franchise, lol.
