The only thing that independence day and iRobot share is Will Smith. I really enjoyed this film. The suspense was omnipresent. The scenario puts you in tracks so your believes are strong and will change with a lot of amazement.

All the action is a far future like Minority Report’s one. The traffic scene and the holographic projections were neat. I don’t feel the film was full of details like the Fifth Element was. Thus this film is entirely about action.

For the cast, I’m really surprised by the small number of persons that featured this film. I mean we have three persons for the overwhelming corporation, two police man and a grand-ma. Others were just making appearance or babbling one or two phrases. Maybe the cost of the fx was the cause. Anyway good film.
